Tóm Tắt Công Việc: 1. ABOUT THE ROLE
Take the responsibility to assist the Restaurant Manager and as well to co-operate for the smooth running of the restaurant, including the training, setting, maintaining and improving service standards established in the outlet.
2. KEY RESPONSIBILITES
o Contribute to the morale and team spirit of the hotel by maintaining effective relationships with colleagues.
o Perform additional duties as directed by the Restaurant Manager.
o Make appropriate suggestions and recommendations to the related supervisors for the general improvement of the hotel.
o Be fully conversant with all health and safety, fire and emergency procedures.
o Maintain a high standard of personal hygiene, dress, uniform, and body language.
o Be polite and professional in any situation where the image or regulation of the hotel is represented.
o Attend meetings and training as required by the Restaurant Manager.
o Ensure that all activities are carried out honestly, ethically, and within the parameters of local Law.
o Interact with guests actively soliciting feedback.
o Quantity and nature of guest comments and complaints.
o Associate training and development.
b. Key Result Areas
o Arrive on duty with a clean, sober and smart appearance.
o Be responsible for high standard of service of F&B in the restaurant; plans, control and co-ordinate activities of all associate in the restaurant.
o Prepare monthly training plans and training reports to the Restaurant Manager.
o Maintain a good working atmosphere and teamwork within the department and throughout the hotel.
o Be responsible for hygiene, cleanliness and good appearance of the outlet station, and proper maintenance of all operating equipment, furniture, and fixtures.
o Ensure that all employees are aware of the restaurant facilities, hours of operation, etc.
o Ensure that the restaurant is properly equipped and staffed at all times. Check reservation.
o Assisting the restaurant in achieving the budget & costs control.
o Be highly visible in the restaurant and handle complaints.
o Establish good guest contact by setting up guest history cards, greeting guests by guest name when possible, inform regular guests about activities and promotions in the hotel
o Take care of all guests paying special attention to VIP guests.
o Solve all problems occurring in area of responsibilities and report it to the Restaurant Manager.
o Maintain good relationships with all employees within the F&B Division and other Division to ensure inter Department relationships.
o Assist the Restaurant Manager to lead, motivate, train associates and build a good working environment.
o Conduct uniform inspection prior to the opening of each shift.
o In absence of the Restaurant Manager, attend the daily briefing and monthly F&B meeting and compile a full report to the Restaurant Manager.
o On duty briefing, inform all associates on duty on food out of stock/specials, alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages out of stock/specials, food promotions and internal news, etc.
o Assisting the Restaurant Manager and, in his absence, to maintain a high level of co-operation and communication with the Executive Chef and Sous Chef to avoid any kind of friction between Kitchen and service associate.
o On his absence, inform the Restaurant Manager about the personal conflicts in the outlet, solve it and inform him about the decision taken.
o Consult the Executive Chef and/or Sous Chef on daily specials
o Assisting the Restaurant Manager to make sure that all related subordinates work together to achieve the monthly and annual sales target.
o Be responsible for logbook reports to ensure that all guest comments, complaints and daily incidents which happened in the outlet are written down in the logbook and forwarded to the Restaurant Manager.
Yêu Cầu Công Việc: o Bachelor or full professional qualification (Certificate in Restaurant Services, Certificate in Food Services, Certificate in Hotel Catering and Management or Diploma in Hospitality Management).
o Extensive knowledge of Food and Beverage working practices in a 5-star hospitality setting.
o Excellent command of the English language.
o Ability to express effective written and verbal communication.
o Excellent communicator, organizer and motivator.
o Strong leadership and organizational skills.
o Dynamic, innovative and self-motivated.
o Able to manage large and diverse associates in a multi-unit setting.
o Computer literate and administrative skills.
